Update 6/16/2009
Well today has been a great day. This morning I found out that I was hired at a Chevy Dealership in Pensacola! Pete Moore Chevrolet to be exact. Its an entry level position, however, I have great opportunies to move up and be trained as a technician. You have to start somewhere right? I knew from the beginning that I had to start from the bottom and work my way up so that is what I plan on doing. I am going in as a quick service tech and the more I progress, the faster I move up the ladder and the more money I make. Overall I am happy that I am finally getting the chance to enter the industry that I have been working so hard to get. All this work finally paid off!
In other news, the new head will be going on this weekend if i have time and I will be on the dyno that wednesday or thursday. Our local track is having a track day just for the tallahassee people on the 25th of June so i definitely plan on being ready for that. I'll keep everyone posted.
Update 4/4/2009
Project h23vtec has gone deeper! How about an addition of a roots supercharger on top of this beast? Oh yes! There will be blood. I havent figured out when its going to go on yest but it should be around summer time. I have to do some head work dyno testing and go back to the track to hopefully break into the 12's on stock cams!
The second thing I was going to add was that i am going to be offering AEM ems tuning solutions in the near future. I just purchased a unit for the project car and once I learn the system, I will throw it into the list of programs that I am qualified to tune.
That is all for now
It's almost time!
BBmoto is soon to be opening the doors to a real shop. My partner in crime, friend, and technical master mind Max Muller and I are working towards finding a place to open a place within the next year. Our plans are to slowly work our way off of our day to day jobs as they begin to interfere with shop customers.
No additional information or details are really available to us, however, we know we will have a place which can house two cars. We will have fab materials (welder, piping, etc...) and all the tools needed to allow us to prosper and become the #1 place to go for performance in the area. Combining our knowledge will be dangerous to this industry so be careful. The power and efficiency may be too much for you :-).
Jan/Feb Schedule for BBmoto Tuning:
Jan 22-25 -Orlando, FLtuning Josh's Mahle/Skunk2 Pro2 Prelude with ectune
Jan 29-Feb 2 - Flying to New Hampshire rebuilding a turbo h23 motor for Travis
Updates for Project H23vtec, the BBmoto street/stock 1998 Prelude:
The last dyno session was a great success with eCtune. I was able to safely increase the power from 210whp/175tq from the Crome tune to 215whp/178tq with eCtune. The car went back to the track and ran a 13.43 @ 103.5 MPH.

I am currently working on being the FIRST documented 5th Generation Prelude to run into the 12 second barrier without any power adders and on stock cams.
Project H23vtec currently has a head being worked by Steve Dandrea of CCcylinder Heads in Garden Grove, California. I believe with the addition of this head and some more work to allow me to shift better, the car will make its first 12 sec pass without needing aftermarket camshafts.
more updates to come in the future.......:-)
